TYRONE TOPICS.

  At the home of his parents on West Juniata street, at 1.45 o'clock 
yesterday morning, our little and highly esteemed and appreciated 
friend, one who always had a kind word to say in our passages upon the 
street line, and one who never failed to recognize an acquaintance, 
Johnny, only son and child of Mr. and Mrs. J. L. Mitchell, went to his 
long home to which six other little brothers and sisters of his 
immediate family had preceded him.  It was a sad taking off.  We cannot 
say any more.  Born November 28, 1885, his age was 5 years, 2 months 
and 27 days.  Last evening Rev. J. R. Davies conducted the funeral 
services and an opportunity, previous to 9.30 p.m., was afforded 
friends to view the remains.  The funeral services were conducted 
privately.  The remains will be taken to Wilkesbarre, where interment 
will be had this afternoon at Hollenbach cemetery.
