Mitchell, widow of the late William Mitchell and a very estimable resident of the Ninth ward died at the home of her son, William H. Mitchell of 1920 Pine avenue, at 11 o'clock yesterday morning of senility. She had been in failing health for the past several months. Deceased was born in Westmoreland county on July 18, 1835. She had resided in the city for some years and was esteemed and respected by all who shared her acquaintance. She was a member of Second Lutheran church. Her husband preceded her to the grave fourteen years ago and she is survived by these sons and daughters, Robert, of Pittsburg; Mrs. Matilda Kerr, of Indiana; James of Tyrone; Mrs. Clara Snyder, John and William H., of this city. One brother, John Henderson, of Derry, also survives. The funeral will take place Wednesday afternoon at 3 o'clock. Interment in Oak Ridge cemetery.
