Mitchell, widow of the late Frank Mitchell, died at 5:45 o'clock Thursday morning, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Arthur F. Plummer, of Washington avenue, from heart affection. She had been visiting her for about two weeks and but one week ago took to her bed with the trouble from which she had suffered intermittently. Deceased was a daughter of Frank and Catherine Cotton and was born in Greenville, Pa., September 21, 1863. She was married to Frank Mitchell, a former well known railroad conductor, in 1889, and spent practically all her life in Reynoldsville and Driftwood. Surviving are four daughters - Mrs. B. H. Riddle, of Butler; Mrs. W. H. Ulsh, of Selinsgrove; Mrs. Arthur F. Plummer, of Tyrone; Miss Ruth Mitchell, at home. She was a member of the Reynoldsville Presbyterian church. The body will be taken home today. Funeral and interment will take place Sunday afternoon, her pastor, Rev. Miller officiating. Altoona Tribune, Altoona, Pa., Friday Morning, December 22, 1916
