MARY MOCK Mrs. Mary Mock, one of our best beloved old ladies, died at the home of her son, George Mock, on Water street, Sunday after a two weeks illness due to bronchitis. Mary Kathryn Mock was born at Snively's Mills, February 5, 1842, and was a daughter of George R. and Susan Snively. On November 10, 1864, she was married to Andrew Mock of Williamsburg. They established their new home at Snively's Mills, where the deceased lived until the death of her husband in 1898. After that time she moved to Martinsburg and lived there until making her home with her son in 1914. Mrs. Mock was a life long member of the Brethren of Christ church, was a devoted mother, a helpful and loving neighbor. She is survived by two sons and one daughter, Ithamaer, of Williamsburg; George, of Roaring Spring; and Mrs. Isaac Stormer, of Martinsburg. Also surviving are seventeen grandchildren and three great-grandchildren and one brother, Andrew I. Snively, of Hope, Kansas. The funeral services will be conducted at the home of George Mock on Water street, at 1 o'clock, Wednesday afternoon. After which the cortege will go to Snively's Mills, North Woodbury township, where interment will be made in the Snively family cemetery. Altoona Tribune, Tuesday Morning, March 11, 1919
