Mock and a member of one of Morrisons cove's best known pioneer families, died at her home adjoining the Church of the Brethren in Curryville this morning at 1:55 o'clock, death being attributed to a complication of ailments, superinduced by a fall which she suffered at her home a week ago last Wednesday. At that time Mrs. Mock suffered a head injury and had been confined to her bed since. She was a daughter of a pioneer minister of the Church of the Brethren Rev. John B. Replogle, and Elizabeth Replogle and was born on a farm near Woodbury on June 28, 1857. She was united in marriage with Mr. Mock on November 9, 1881. He died on Aug. 7, 1924. To this union six children were born, Elizabeth, Earl and Abram being deceased. Surviving are John Mock of near Curryville, Harry Mock of Altoona and Mary, wife of H. B. Rhodes of Martinsburg, and one foster daughter, Miss Alice Baker, and eleven grandchildren. One brother, John A. Replogle of Lakemont Terrace, also survives. Mrs. Mock united with the Church of the Brethren at the age of 11 years and spent her entire life in the work of the church. She was the ideal homemaker and was devoted to her family, the church and to her neighbors, always willing to lend a helping hand in time of need. Funeral services will be conducted in the church next door to her home Saturday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock. Interment will be made in the Eshelman cemetery.
