Tyrone Daily Herald, Tyrone, Blair, Pennsylvania.  Monday, May 5, 1975; p2.
Mrs. Mabel A. Moffett, Tipton, died Saturday at 12:26 p.m. at Tyrone Hospital 
following an extended illness.
She was born Jan. 26, 1882 at Delmont, a daughter of Alpheus D and Clarissa 
Welty Potts.  She was married to Howard F. Moffett.  He died in 1934.
She is survived by a son and a daughter, Howard A. of Greenville and Mrs. 
Frances Leitzell, Tipton; two grandchildren, five great grandchildren, and one 
great great grandchild, and three sisters, Miss Nellie Potts, Tipton, Mrs. 
Alphe Harrison, Chambersburg, and Mrs. Rosanna Hubbard, Lambertsville, N.J.
She was a member of Logan Valley Presbyterian Church, Bellwood.
Funeral service will be held Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. at Johnson Funeral Home, 
Bellwood, with the Rev. Clinton A. McCoy officiating.  Burial will be at Cedar 
Grove Cemetery, Petersburg.  Friends will be received at the funeral home this 
evening from 7 to 9.
