MRS. CATHERINE MOFFITT
Of 1906 Eleventh street, died at the home of her daughter Mrs. Robert D. Steel 
of 2023 Tenth street, at 3:20 o'clock Sunday morning, after an extended 
illness. She was born at Kittanning Point, Dec. 25, 1863, the daughter of 
Leonard and Rosanna (Mobis) Horner and was a member of the First Lutheran 
church. Her husband, Harry B. Moffitt, preceded her in death, May 30, 1945 
[1925]. Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Steel, one son, Leonard C. Moffitt, 
both of Altoona; and two grandchildren, Donald Steel and Leonard Moffitt, Jr. 
Friends will he received at the Laughlin funeral home.
