Altoona Mirror, Altoona, Blair, Pennsylvania.  Monday, February 10, 1969; p32.
Eva V. Moffitt of 1533 2nd St., died at 10:45 p.m. yesterday in Mercy 
Hospital, where was admitted Saturday, after a brief illness.  She was born in 
Altoona on May 14, 1906, a daughter of Daniel W. and Lillian (Vandreve) 
Showalter, and married Herman C. Moffitt.  Surviving are her husband, two 
daughters, Mrs. Nassif of Altoona and Mrs. Maxine Long of Somerset; a stepson, 
H. Clinton Moffitt of Portland, Ore.; 13 grandchildren, including Mrs. Bonnie 
Decker of Altoona who was reared in the home, and one great grandchild.  Mrs. 
Moffitt was a member of the Fourth Street Church of God.  Friends will be 
received in the Axe Funeral Home from 3:30 p.m. Wednesday until 11 a.m. 
Thursday and thereafter in the church.
