Juniata Woman Is Called By Death
Mrs. Jennie D. Moffitt, wife of Andrew W. Moffitt of 112 Ninth avenue, 
Juniata, died suddenly at the family home ay 11 o’clock last night.
She was born in Newry on Aug. 8, 1865, a daughter Cyrus B. and Rebecca 
J. Lowe.  She was united in marriage on Feb.18, 1886 to Mr. Moffitt and the 
couple observed their golden wedding in 1936 and their fifty-fifth anniversary 
last year.
Surviving are her husband, a retired Middle Division conductor; one 
son, Charles W. Moffitt of Juniata; four grandchildren and two brothers, 
William J. Lowe of Cincinnati, O. and John C. Lowe of this city.
Mrs. Moffitt was a devoted member of the Holy Rosary Catholic church 
in Juniata and the parish guild.  Friends will be received after 7 o’clock 
this evening.
