All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/pa/blair/ _______________________________________________ GLENN HOWARD MOGLE Glenn Howard Mogle, 80, of 1100 Lincoln Ave., Tyrone, PA, died Friday morning, April 28, 2006 at the Hollidaysburg Veterans Home. He was born March 15, 1926 in Tyrone, a son of Harry H. and Irene (Lucas) Mogle. He is survived by one brother and two sisters: Guy L. Mogle of Tipton, PA; Louise Fagley of Grazierville, PA and Betty Eckley of Lamar, PA; two nieces and five nephews. He was a member of the Tyrone Christ United Methodist Church. He was a graduate of Tyrone High School in 1947 after military service. Mr. Mogle served in the U.S. Navy during WW II as a Seaman First Class. He was also a member of the Tyrone Masonic Lodge No. 494, the Altoona Consistory and the Jaffa Shrine. Mr. Mogle was a member of the Tyrone V.F.W. No. 4559 and the American Legion Post 281 for over 50 years. He retired in October 1991 as a shipping clerk at Chicago Rivet & Machine Co., Tyrone after 24 years service. Funeral services and flag presentation will be held Tuesday, May 2, 2006 at 11 a.m. at the Derman Funeral Home, Inc., Tyrone with the Rev. Bernard J. Bookhammer officiating. Interment will be at Advent Cemetery, Boggs Township, Milesburg, PA. Friends will be received at the funeral home on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Contributions in his memory may be made to the Christ United Methodist Church, 1359 Pennsylvania Ave., Tyrone, PA 16686.
