MRS. MARY MONTGOMERY

Aged 83, died at 6:55 o'clock last evening at the home of a daughter, Mrs. M. 
J. Connell, 2028 Twelfth avenue, of a complication of diseases after a long 
illness.  She was born in County Roscommon, Ireland, on May 13, 1851, and 
came to this country when about 16 years old.  Her husband died in 1905.  
Surviving are two daughters and four sons, Mrs. M. J. Connell, James 
Montgomery and Sister Marceline, all of the city, John and Michael Montgomery 
of Denver, Colo., and Richard Montgomery of Chicago.  Nine grandchildren, 
three great-grandchildren and one sister, Miss Ellen Diffley of Ireland, also 
survive.  The funeral will be held at 9 o'clock Friday morning from St. Leo's 
Catholic church.  Interment will be made in Calvary cemetery.  Friends are 
asked to please omit flowers.
