The deceased came here from Philadelphia last week, and on the way contracted a cold which last Saturday developed into a severe case of pneumonia with fatal result. Miss Montiers was aged 30 years. She is survived by her parents, two sisters and four brothers. The remains will be taken to Philadelphia tonight for interment. The death is an especially sad one. Just two weeks ago, Mr. Montier's wife passed away, from the same ailment, pneumonia. His sister, Miss Catharine, came here to take the children with her to the home of their grandparents at Philadelphia, but she, too, was stricken and taken away. The doubly bereft husband and brother has the heartfelt sympathy of the community in his severe affliction. Tyrone Daily Herald, Tyrone, Pa., Monday, January 2, 1899, page 1
