MOORE Mr. Moore, 55, of 106 Blair St., Martinsburg, died at 11:55 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 7, 1982, at Nason Hospital, Roaring Spring, following a heart attack. Mr. Moore, known as Hoot, had been manager at Agway Petroleum Corp., Martinsburg, for 31 years. He was born Dec. 5, 1926, in Roaring Spring, the son of William A. and Bessie K. (Albright) Moore, and married Janice Burk. Surviving are his wife and a son, Brian, at home. Also surviving are six brothers and sisters: Robert W. and Mrs. Barbara Butler of Roaring Spring RD; Mrs. Lois Klotz, Mrs. Wilbert Sell and Vernon of Roaring Spring, and Mrs. Doris Matheny of Murfrees Boro, Tenn. Mr. Moore was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Roaring Spring. He was a Navy veteran of World War II, serving in the Pacific Theatre. Mr. Moore was a member of the D. Merle Tipton VFW, Martinsburg; Murray Appleman Post American Legion, Roaring Spring; Woodbury Lodge 539, F&AM; Altoona Consistory, Jaffa Shrine Temple and Jaffa Motor Corps unit. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in the John C. Bolger Funeral Home, Martinsburg. MOORE - Services for Alfred M. Moore of 106 Blair St., Martinsburg, will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the John C. Bolger Inc. Funeral Home, Martinsburg, by Dr. Brinton Shaeffer. Interment in Fairview Cemetery. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home, where Masonic services will be held at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.
