RECENT DEATHS.

  Mrs. Annie E. Moore, wife of Robert A. Moore, of New Bloomfield, Pa., 
died Thursday night, January 29, after a long and painful illness.  She 
was a daughter of John Witherow, lately deceased, and a sister of Mrs. 
H. C. Dern and Charles T. Witherow, of this city.  She leaves to mourn 
their loss an affectionate husband and one son, Dr. E. E. Moore.  She 
was aged about 50 years.  Although for over twenty-years an almost 
constant sufferer from spine disease, yet her disposition was bright 
and cheerful, with always a kind word for those about her.  Above all, 
she was a Christian, being a member of the Presbyterian church, with a 
firm belief in and love for her Savior, and was ready and willing to go 
to Him whenever the summons might come.  The funeral will take place on 
Monday forenoon, from her late residence.  Interment in the Bloomfield 
cemetery.
