MOORE Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Moore, wife of Major James F. Moore, and former resident of Altoona, died at her home 1023 Fifth avenue, Altoona, early this morning. A full obituary will appear in tomorrow's Daily Herald. Tyrone Daily Herald, Tyrone, Pa., January 1, 1943 Mrs. Mary E. Moore Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Moore, wife of Major James F. Moore, and former resident of Altoona, died at her home 1023 Fifth Avenue, Altoona, early yesterday morning at 12.01 o'clock, after an extended illness with a complication of diseases. Mrs. Moore was a daughter of [name missing*] and Matilda (Herlt) Hample and was born at Grazierville on ___uary** 11, 1875. On March 18, 1897, at Tyrone, she was united in marriage with James F. Moore. She is survived by her husband and one son, William Clair Moore, of Chicago, Illinois; also a brother, John Hample, of Monterey, Indiana; and two grandchildren. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Tyrone. Friends will be received at the Lafferty funeral home, Altoona, after seven o'clock this evening. Funeral services will be held at the Lafferty funeral home on Monday afternoon at two o'clock, followed by burial in Grandview Cemetery, Tyrone.
