MOORE - Died suddenly, on February 1, Aunt Polly Moore, at an advanced 
age.  She had a few peculiarities, and among these a disposition to 
avoid all society but that of near relatives, therefore, but little was 
known of her religious exercises outside of a few friends from whom she 
could not be hid. One of these has communicated the following since the 
funeral; "She was secluded from earthly society, but she was near her 
God, and held close communication with him daily. She loved to read and 
study God's holy word. She had an excellent memory, which was well 
stored with Scripture knowledge. The last thing she did on earth was to 
read her Bible, and then peacefully went to rest without a struggle."
