MOORE, Sr. Of 104 Basin street, Hollidaysburg, died unexpectedly at his home at 6 o'clock this morning. He was born at Martinsburg, R.D., Oct. 6, 1889, a son of Jeremiah and Margaret (Emeigh) Moore. His first wife, Mrs. Bessie Moore, died Nov. 29, 1943. Surviving are his second wife, Mrs. Aurelia Moore; nine children born to the first marriage, Mrs. Blair Weyandt, Robert W., Mrs. Wilbur Klotz, William A., jr., Vernon D., Mrs. Wilbert Sell, Alfred M. and Miss Barbara K., all of Roaring Spring, and Mrs. John Matheny of Charlotte, N.C.; 14 grandchildren and the following brothers and sisters: George of Philadelphia, Jesse of Roaring Spring, Mrs. Edith Carl and Chester of Hollidaysburg, John E. and Mrs. Annie McIntire of Akron, O., and Mrs. Elizabeth Donnelly of Williamsburg, R.D. Mr. Moore was a member of the Hollidaysburg Church of God and the Men's Bible class and was employed as a machinist by the Pennsylvania Railroad company. Friends will be received at the Creamer, VanAllman & Plank funeral home, Hollidaysburg, from 7 o'clock tomorrow evening until noon Saturday and thereafter at the church.
