He was born on June 7, 1870, in Danville, a son of Thomas P. and Emma (Farley) Morgan, and married Ellen May Bradley on Nov. 10, 1892. Prior to coming to Altoona in 1900 Mr. Morgan was employed in rolling mills at Danville and Tyrone. He retired from the Altoona works service on Feb. 1, 1937. Surviving are his wife, two sons and two daughters, Mrs. R. M. Clark and Martha, at home, Harry P. and William R. of the city; six grandchildren, and three sisters, Mrs. Margaret Wolf of Chicago, Mrs. Annie Siegel of the city and Mrs. Sarah Hale of Terre Haute, Ind. Mr. Morgan was a member of the Second United Brethren church and of Altoona lodge, Knights of Pythias. Friends will be received at the home after 6 o'clock this evening.
