Morgan, aged 70, of 1022 Eighteenth avenue, retired member of the Altoona city paid fire department, died at 11.27 o'clock this morning at the Altoona hospital. He was in ill health for some time and was admitted to the hospital from his home last Saturday. He suffered from a complication of ailments. Mr. Morgan served the city as a member of the fire department for nineteen years and eight months and was retired as a hoseman on Jan. 1, 1939. He was located with truck A company for some time prior to his retirement. Mr. Morgan was born in Hollidaysburg, April 7, 1874, a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Martin Morgan. He was married in Altoona to Miss Myrtle Dillen. Surviving are the widow, one granddaughter, Lois Dillen, and a brother and sister, Peter and Eliza Morgan, both of Hollidaysburg. He was a member of the St. Teresa Catholic church. MORGAN - Funeral services for Thomas J. Morgan, 1022 Eighteenth avenue, will be conducted Friday morning at 9 o'clock in St. Therese Catholic church. Interment in Greenlawn cemetery. Mr. Morgan reposes at the Vincent J.
