Morgan died at 3:20 o'clock yesterday afternoon at his residence, 901 Chestnut avenue, after an illness of eleven years of paralysis. He was born in Mercer county March 30, 1859 and was married to Margaret Crane twenty-seven years ago. He was employed as a well driller in West Virginia until his health failed. He was a member of the Methodist Episcopal church and is survived by his wife, three children - Myrta, William and Glenn; one brother, R. C. Morgan, of Parkersburg, W. Va., and three sisters, Mrs. Newcomer, of Latrobe; Mrs. Vogan, of Sandy Lake, Pa., and Mrs. Gornley, of New Castle. The funeral will take place Thursday afternoon with services at the house at 2:30 o'clock. Interment will be made in Rose Hill cemetery. Altoona Tribune, Altoona, Pa., Wednesday, June 2, 1915, page 12
