MORRIS, A former resident of Altoona and employed in the Fourth street blacksmith shop of the Pennsylvania Railroad from 1912 to 1924 died yesterday at his home in Butler. He suffered from influenza. He was born at Oliveburg on March 30, 1881, a son of T. J. and Anis L. Morris. He is survived by the widow, Mrs. Hattie Henry Morris, and three children, Walter, Dorothy and Jay, all at home and by the following brothers and sisters; Mrs. Meral Mogle and Mrs. Roy Devilbiss, both of Punxsutawney, Mrs. George Devilbiss of Altoona, Mrs. Webster Brosius of Stanton, Mrs. D. L. Kinsel of Pittsburgh, John P. and Alva C. Morris, both of Punxsutawney, and Thomas J. Morris of DuBois. The remains will be taken to the home of a daughter, Mrs. Roy Devilbiss, 202 Woodland Avenue, Punxsutawney, where burial will be made. Altoona Mirror, Wednesday, December 28, 1932
