Morrissey of Ironsville, Tyrone, Pa., died at 6 o'clock Friday morning, August 29, 1969, in Tyrone Hospital after an extended illness. She was born January 15, 1899, in Hundred Springs, the daughter of David and Beulah (Zimmerman) Parks, and on June 30, 1916, she married Arthur W. Morrissey. Surviving are her husband, three sons, David W. of Warriors Mark; James A. and Earl W., both of Tyrone; 11 grandchildren; three great grandchildren, and one brother and four sisters, Harry of Tyrone; Mrs. Mary Dickson of Sinking Valley; Mrs. Trevia Johnsonbaugh of Altoona and Mrs. Viola Burhnill of Duncansville. Mrs. Morrissey was a member of the Ironsville United Methodist Church. The funeral service will take place at 3:30 p.m. today from Johnson Funeral Home, Bellwood, Pa. with interment in Grandview Cemetery, Tyrone, Pa. Daily News, Huntingdon, Pa., September 1, 1969, page 2
