Morrow, widow of Samuel Morrow, of Sinking Valley. Mrs. Morrow was born and spent her life in the Valley where her body now awaits the resurrection morn. She was an only daughter in a family of nine children, and was the heritage of godly parents. A child of the covenant, years ago she joyfully took upon herself the baptismal vows that had been assumed for her. She was the mother of thirteen children, of whom eleven survive her. As a wife and mother her humble walk with God made her home bright with a devoted and cheerful piety. Her mother's Christian influence for good and felt constantly in her own home, and her children will rise up to call her blessed. In her church relations she was always faithful, loving the Lord's sanctuary and His message from the lips of His servants. Over two years, eh suffered from pulmonary consumption, of which she died. She bore her protracted sufferings with patience, desiring that the good will of her Lord should be accomplished. Her faith in Christ as a Savior was simple, that of a child, receiving and resting upon him alone for salvation as he is offered in the gospel. The language of her heart was, "None but Jesus." Her husband and two of her children went before her to the grave. Her grievous afflictions were sanctified to her. The last religious services with her, the day before he death, were made delightful by the manifest presence of the Holy Spirit. Her last moments on earth were lightened by the rays of the Sun of Righteousness.
