Death of Another of Mr. Morton's Children. The following appeared in last Monday's Tribune: [See morton-john- h.txt] Again to-day it is our painful duty to record the death of another equally as bright and interesting child. On Monday morning at 10 o'clock little Louis Morton, second son of Mr. and Mrs. F. W. Morton, breathed his pure spirit into his Redeemer's hand, aged 4 years and four months. The cooing voice, the little laugh, the infantile prattle are ended, and the chamber echoes no more to the clapping of his hands or the patter of his tiny feet. The sunlight seems to have passed away; darkness and gloom have settled in the dwelling, and although there is one child still left, oh how desolating is this bereavement. Only those who have sustained a similar loss can answer or understand. And yet why murmur? "That deep repose shall never more be broke by pain." The funeral will take place at 3 o'clock this (Tuesday) afternoon. His remains will be deposited beside those of little Johnny in the Presbyterian cemetery.
