He was born Jan. 2, 1888, at Pennsylvania Furnace, the son of William H. and Margaret (Miller) Mosel, and was married in 1911 to Miss Leah Myers. Surviving are the following children: Charles, jr., Mrs. Margaret Hull and Robert, all of Tyrone, and Mrs. Helen Beaton of Rochester, N.Y. Mr. Mosel was a member of the First Presbyterian church, P.R.R. Retired Men's association, and the Junior Order United American Mechanics. He entered the employ of the Pennsylvania railroad as a painter in 1912 and later transferred to the Middle division in 1929. He retired April 1, 1947. Friends are being received at the home.
