Moser, wife of John M. Moser of R. D. No. 2, Eldorado, died at 8:15 o'clock this morning. She had suffered from a heart ailment for some time. She was born in Altoona on Oct. 22, 1898, a daughter of Joseph and Elizabeth (Prough) Peck. Mrs. Moser was a member of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church. Surviving are her husband, one son and one daughter, John Edward and Elizabeth, both at home, one brother and three sisters, Edward Peck of Newry, Mrs. Ida Zeak of Hollidaysburg, Mrs. Mary Banks of Juniata and Mrs. Sarah Moser of Frankstown. Friends will be received at the N. A. Stevens mortuary after 7 o'clock this evening. Altoona Mirror, October 12, 1944 _______ ANNA MARIE (SCHMITT) MOSER Mrs. Anna Marie MOSER, of 1224 Walton Avenue, died at her home at 5:45 o'clock yesterday afternoon after an extended illness. She was born in Bavaria, Germany, on July 16, 1862, a daughter of Joseph and Frances Schmidt. Her husband, Frank Moser, died in 1923. Mrs. Moser was a member of St. Mary's Catholic church. Surviving are three sons and three daughters, Frank, James, Thomas, Mrs. Anna Maloy, Mrs. William Angermeier and Mrs. Max Angermeier, all of the city; 24 grandchildren and one sister in Germany. Mrs. Moser reposes at the home of a son, James Moser of 2108 First Avenue. MOSER - The funeral of Mrs. Anna Marie Moser of 1224 Walton avenue, will be held Thursday morning with requiem mass at 10 o'clock in St. Mary's Church. Interment in St. Mary's Cemetery. Altoona Mirror, November 26, 1946 _______ FRANCES MOSER Died at Kittanning Point Yesterday morning at 2 o'clock Mrs. Frances Moser, wife of Nicholas Moser, died of a cancerous affection, aged 60 years. She was born in Germany, but has lived in this country for many years. She is survived by her husband and a family of grown children. The funeral will take place this morning, a requiem mass being celebrated in St. Mary's Catholic Church, of which she was a member, after which the interment will be made in St. Mary's cemetery. Morning Tribune, Altoona, October 2, 1893, page 4 _______ FRANK MOSER Unconscious 155 Hours, Moser Dies Greenwood Farmer Succumbs To Fracture Of Skull Injuries suffered late last Monday afternoon while working on his farm along the new Greenwood road caused the death early yesterday morning of Frank Moser at the Mercy Hospital, where he was admitted last Tuesday afternoon. He was unconscious from the time of the accident until the time of his death, more than 155 hours. The man was engaged in unloading a hay wagon and fell from the load to the ground. When admitted to the hospital he was found to have suffered a fracture of the skull, a fracture of the fourth rib on the right side and numerous body bruises. He was born November 3, 1860, at Hollidaysburg, and had resided on the Greenwood farm for a number of years, He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Anna Schmidt Moser, and the following children: Miss Frances, a student nurse at Allentown; Frank W. and James J., of East Altoona; Thomas G., of Altoona; Mrs. Raymond Malloy, of Juniata, and Cecilia and Catherine, both at home. One brother and one sister, Joseph Moser, of McGarvey's Station, and Mrs. Rachel Mohme, of Washington also survive. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic church and of the Knights of St. George. The body has been taken to the home of the son, Thomas Moser, of 303 East Sixth avenue, and funeral services will be held in St. Mary's church, with requiem mass at 9 o'clock Wednesday morning. Interment will be made in the church cemetery. Altoona Tribune, Tuesday, July 29, 1924, page 16, column 3 _______ GENEVIEVE MOSER Mrs. Genevieve Moser, a native of Altoona, died at the home of a son, Richard C. of Pittsburg, Calif., at 7 p.m. Friday. Surviving are two sons, Richard and Albert W. of San Francisco, Calif; four grandchildren, and the following brothers and sisters: William M. and Miss Lois Sullivan of Altoona, Mrs. Eileen Dunn of Baltimore, Md., Sister Mary William, Sisters of St. Joseph, Baden, and Edward F. of West Palm Beach, Fla. Interment was made in San Francisco. Altoona Mirror, August 19, 1963 _______ JOSEPH MOSER Joseph Moser, P. R. R. watchman at Kittaning Point, died of pneumonia at his home, Lake Altoona, yesterday, 5 a.m. Mr. Moser was born at Hollidaysburg October 3, 1866. He was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Anna Chirdon Moser, five daughters and four sons: Mrs. Susan Conley, Wilmore; Mrs. Elizabeth Haines, Harrisburg; Miss Barbara Moser, Ebensburg; Joseph Moser, California; John, Albert, Margaret and Nicholas Moser, and Mrs. Mary Wicker, Altoona; Mrs. Rachel Mohne, in Washington State. There will be a requiem mass Saturday, 9 a.m., in Our Lady of Lourdes church, followed by interment in Calvary cemetery. The body may be viewed at the Stevens mortuary. Altoona Tribune, Friday, May 15, 1931, page 16, column 5 _______ NICHOLAS MOSER Nicholas Moser, an old and esteemed resident of Kittanning Point, died at that place last night at 9 o'clock, of diseases incident to old age. The deceased was aged 74 years. For almost a half century he has followed the occupation of a farmer near the Point. He was a member of the Catholic Church. He is survived by nine children, several of them residing in Altoona. The funeral will leave the house at 11 o'clock tomorrow morning for this city, and on arrival here mass will be celebrated in St. Mary's church; internment in St. Mary's cemetery.
