He was born at Mercersburg on Aug. 31, 1880, a son of John and Catherine (Ott) Mosser, and had served as a passenger engineer on the Middle division for a period of 44 years. His first wife, Mrs. Mary (Wilt) Mosser, died on April 28, 1945, and on Dec. 31, 1945, he married Mrs. Lorene Bray. Surviving are his wife and four stepchildren, Mrs. T. E. Farrell of Pittsburgh, David W. Bray, Mrs. K. M. Farabaugh and Robert Bray, all of the city. Mr. Mosser was a member of the Trinity Lutheran church, Juniata, of White Cross lodge, No. 354, Knights of Pythias, and the B. of L.F.&E., No. 287. Friends may call at the Lafferty funeral home after 7 o'clock this evening. MOSSER - Funeral services for William Boyd Mosser, 822 Twenty-sixth street will be held at the funeral home of John P. Lafferty Friday afternoon at 3 o'clock in charge of Rev. Ralph W. Birk of the Trinity Lutheran church, Juniata. Interment in Alto-Reste burial park.
