MILDRED E. MOUNTZ 

  Mrs. Mildred E. Mountz, 92, formerly of 320 21st St., Tyrone, PA and 
a resident of Epworth Manor, Tyrone, went to be with the Lord at 11:45 
a.m. Tuesday, July 8, 2003 after a lengthy illness. 
  She was born Sept. 3, 1910 at Vail, Snyder Twp., a daughter of Edward 
King and Mary Emma (Webster) Reynolds.
  She was married to James Foster Mountz in Tyrone, on June 27, 1927, 
who preceded her in death Jan. 5, 1971.
  She is survived by a daughter, Dorothy L. Thomas and her husband Jay 
of Tyrone, and a son James Foster Mountz, Jr. of Apache Junction, 
Arizona.
  Five grandchildren, Barbara Thomas of Altoona, Larry Thomas and his 
wife Karen of Cranberry Township, Charles Lykens of Altoona, Steve 
Mountz and his wife Mary of Apache Junction, Ariz., John Mountz of 
Phoenix, Ariz., Ken Mountz of Mesa Ariz.; and a niece, Janet Emigh of 
Tyrone.
  She had nine great-grandchildren, Mark Lykens of Altoona; Jaylene 
Smith of Lemont, Michael Lykens of Altoona, James Thomas of Radford, 
Va., David Thomas of Cranberry Township, Coulter Mountz of Apache 
Junction, Eric Mountz of Colorado, and Jessica Mountz Young of Mesa, 
Ariz., Kama Mountz of Phoenix, Ariz.
  She had five great-great grandchildren, Maggie, Jack, Sophia, Leah 
and Coulter Jr.
  She was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.
  She was a member of the Church in Tyrone.
  She was a homemaker and was active in church activities and 
Missionary work.
  Funeral services will be held Friday, July 11, 2003 at 11 a.m. at the 
Derman Funeral Home, Inc., Tyrone, with her son-in-law Jay Thomas 
officiating. Interment will follow at Baughman Cemetery, Snyder Twp.
  Friends will be received at the funeral home on Thursday from 7 - 9 
p.m.
  Contributions in her memory may be made to the Tyrone Hospital Aux. 
Care Car Fund, 1 Hospital Dr., Tyrone, PA 16686.
