Thomas Mulberry, a former resident of this city, died at Sandwich, Ontario, on the 11th instant, aged about 34 years. He was born in Philadelphia, where he lived until about twelve years of age, when his parents moved to Altoona, where he stayed until he was about twenty- one, learning and working at the trade of a machinist. He then went to Kansas City, where he stayed three years. From there he went to Grand Rapids. When the Tioga company commenced business in that city he was engaged as the machinist and engineer of the company, and remained with them in that capacity until about a year ago. Much of the time during the last three or four years he had only a general supervision of the mills and machinery, having been engaged in the drug business. About eight years since he was attacked with heart disease, from which he apparently recovered for awhile, but which finally resulted fatally. Deceased was an honored member of the Knights Templar and Knights Pythias, and was respected by all who knew him. Morning Tribune, Altoona, Pa., Tuesday, July 20, 1880
