DAVID H. MUMMAH

Of 2125 Sixth Avenue, died at the Mercy Hospital at 2:58 o'clock this 
morning of apoplexy after having been ill for the past three weeks.  He was 
born at Mansfield, Pa. on December 23, 1868, a son of Cornelius and Lydia 
Markey Mummah, pioneer residents of Altoona.  Mr. Mummah was a structural 
steel worker, retiring three months ago.  Surviving are one brother and one 
sister, Cornelius Mummah and Susanna Harpster, both of the city.  He was a 
member of the Methodist Church and of the local lodge of structural steel 
workers. Funeral services will be held at the home at 2:30 o'clock Thursday 
afternoon.  Interment will be made in Oak Ridge cemetery.  The body may be 
viewed at the home.
