Murdock died suddenly at her home on Washington avenue, of heart trouble, at 10.30 o'clock on Tuesday evening. Mrs. Murdock was the daughter of Rev. Elisha Furst, of the Genisee Methodist Episcopal conference of New York, and was born September 14, 1845, and at death was aged 45 years, 6 months and 10 days. The family moved from Westfield, Tioga county, to Tyrone in the all of 1889. Beside her husband she leaves to mourn their great loss four children - Misses Helena and Sarah and William and Searer; also two sisters and one brother - Mrs. Helena Billings, of Elmira, N.Y.; Mrs. Maggie Newman, of Bradford, Pa., and Mr. Searer Sweet, of Hornellsville, N.Y. Funeral service will be held at the late home of the deceased on Friday morning at 10 o'clock, to be conducted by the Rev. George Leidy and Rev. B. B. Hamlin, and interment in Tyrone cemetery.
