Altoona Mirror, Altoona, PA 11/3/1963

William A Murray of 112 16th St., died at 2 p.m. yesterday at the Ardrey 
Nursing home after an extended illness. He was born in Altoona April 10, 1887, 
a son of William and Nancy (Rodland) Murray and married Lillian Robison, who 
died in 1916. Surviving are a son, Thomas E., of the city, one child and two 
great-grandchildren. He retired in 1947 as a freight conductor for the P.R.R. 
after 47 years of service.
