He was born in Altoona, on June 21, 1877, a son of George and Annie (Keller) Myers, and had been employed by the William F. Gable Company for about 40 years, being a member of the Quarter Century Club of the store. Mr. Myers was twice married, his first wife having been Mrs. Elsie (Marks) Myers, who died on March 7, 1912. He is survived by his second wife, Mrs. Ruth (Burchfield) Myers, three daughters born to his first marriage, Mrs. Alton E. Cherry of the city; Mrs. Arthur R. May of New Brunswick, N.J.; and Mrs. Thomas E. Haffley of the city; two sons and one daughter born to his second marriage: T/5 Robert B. Myers, who is serving in the army in Austria; L. Richard and Anna Darlene, at the home, and a step-son Ralph B. Killinger. Also surviving are seven grandchildren, one great-grandchild, one brother and two sisters, Calvin P. Myers, Mrs. Robert Schroeder and Mrs. Merrel G. Campbell, all of the city. A daughter and son born to the first marriage, Mr. Chester E. Vaughn and Kenneth M. Myers, preceded him in death. Mr. Myers was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran church. Friends will be received at the Laughlin funeral home after 7 o'clock Friday evening. MYERS - Funeral service for Blair K. Myers of 2828 Broad Avenue, will be held at 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon at the Laughlin Funeral Home by Rev. John L. Barnes. Interment in Rose Hill cemetery will be deferred pending the arrival of a son serving in the armed forces. Friends will be received at the Laughlin Funeral Homes after 7 o'clock Friday evening.
