She was born March 30, 1906, in Roaring Spring, the daughter of Samuel and Harriet (Garber) Dick, and Feb. 22, 1924, in Cumberland, Md., married Raymond P. Myers, who died June 6, 1969. Surviving are six children: Raymond D., Mrs. Janet L. Shaw, Mrs. Donna J. Smith and Mrs. Mary K. Shambaugh of Roaring Spring; R. Jay of Atlanta, Ga., and William H. of Martinsburg; 17 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Also surviving are two sisters: Mrs. Golda Feathers and Mrs. Edith Isenberg of Roaring Spring and a half-brother, Claude Dick of Roaring Spring RD. Mrs. Myers was a member of the First Church of the Brethren, Roaring Spring. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday in the J. Gary Thompson Funeral Home, Roaring Spring. MYERS - Services for Irene Myers of 239 Main St., Roaring Spring, will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in the J. Gary Thompson Funeral Home, Roaring Spring, by the Rev. Charles R. Stump.
