All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/pa/blair/ _______________________________________________ PAUL SAMUEL MYERS Paul Samuel Myers, 90, formerly of RD1 Tyrone Forge, and a resident of the Pennsylvania House at 2 W. 11th St., Tyrone died Sunday evening, Nov. 16, 2003 at Valley View Home in Altoona. He was born April 12, 1913 at Bellefonte, a son of Boyd Daniels and Susan Mabel (Fetters) Myers. He was married Feb. 15, 1934 at Cumberland, Md. to Pauline Josephine Gray. He is survived by his wife Pauline, a son Joseph E. Myers and his wife Linda of 5411 Shovelworks Rd., Tyrone, a daughter Sharon L. McCaulley of RD 4 Tyrone. Also, four grandchildren: William and Joseph Myers, Wendy McCartney and Gary D. McCaulley Jr., all of Tyrone; two great-grandchildren; a brother and four sisters, Donald Myers, Nancy Markel and Hazel Miller of Tyrone, Betsy Woomer of RD 3 Tyrone and Marybelle Boughamer of Northwood, Tyrone. He was preceded in death by two sons, five daughters; a sister, Jessie Shultz; and a son-in-law, Gary D. McCaulley Sr. He was a member of the Tyrone Alliance Church and a member of the Hookies Fire Co. He was an army veteran of World War II. He retired in 1975 as plant operator from Warner Co. Lime and Stone after 27 years of service. Funeral services and flag presentation will be held Wednesday, Nov. 19, 2003 at 11 a.m. at the Derman Funeral Home, Inc., Tyrone, with Pastor Tim Miller officiating. Interment will be at Blair Memorial Park, Antis Township. Friends will be received at the funeral home Tuesday evening from 6-9 p.m. Contributions in his memory may be offered to the Tyrone Alliance Church New Bldg. Fund, 2103 Adams Ave., Tyrone, Pa. 16686.
