Mrs. Sarah E. Myers died at the home of her son, J. C. Myers, 1610 Eleventh 
street, shortly after midnight, after a brief illness, of pneumonia.  She was 
past 75 years old and was born in Blair township, this county.   She was 
married to James Myers in her young womanhood, her husband dying in Tyrone 
while they resided here.  She had living in Altoona for many years.  Mrs. Myers 
is survived by two sons, J. C. of Altoona, and James of Buffalo and two 
daughters, Mrs. A. J. Bigham of the Milton apartments and Stella Myers of 
Buffalo.  The later was with her mother when she passed away.  She was a member 
of St. John’s Roman Catholic church.  The funeral announcement will made later.
