The Pittsburg News of last evening contained the following: "Mrs. Dolly Myton, aged 26 years, died last night at 12.30 o'clock at the Allegheny General hospital from burns received at her home at about 5.30 p.m. yesterday. She was in the house alone at the time the accident happened, standing in front of an open grate and looking into a mirror. Her clothing was of light material and in an instant she was a mass of flames. She ran screaming into the street and was caught by Miss Celia Marming, whose hands were burned in her attempt to put out the flames. Mrs. Myton's arms, neck, body and limbs were burned almost to a crisp." The dead woman was a former resident of Altoona and was known as Dolly Campbell before her marriage.
