After an illness of two weeks Matthew Nagle, an engineer on the Pittsburgh division of the Pennsylvania railroad, died on Friday night, at 11.35 at his home, 1923 Eleventh avenue. He was 32 years of age and had been employed by the Pennsylvania Railroad company for fifteen years. He is survived by his wife and four children, their ages ranging between 2 and 9 years. He is also survived by his father, Michael Nagle; two sisters, Mrs. Joseph P. Harney and Mrs. John Fleck, and three brothers, James A., William and Harry M., all of this city. He was a member of St. John's church and of Jerry C. Burley division, Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers. Funeral service will be conducted in St John's church at 8.30 this morning; interment in St John's cemetery. Altoona Tribune, Altoona, Pa., Monday, January 14, 1895, page 1
