Miss Rose Nally, a well known resident of the Second ward, died at her home, 706 Eighth avenue, at 11.45 o'clock last night as the result of injuries received in a fall that befell her on February 11 and since which time she had been confined to the house and her bed. Deceased was born in county Longford, Ireland, and was aged about 80 years. She came to Altoona over fifty years ago and had since resided here. During her long residence in the city she became well known and in the community in which she resided was respected and esteemed. Some years ago, she filled the position as assistant pastry cook at the Logan house. She was a member of St. Mark's Catholic church and is survived by her sister, Miss Kate Nally, with whom she resided, and by several nieces and nephews. The funeral arrangements will be announced later. Altoona Tribune, March 25, 1912
