Nardelli, 82, Altoona, died Sunday, Oct. 10, 2004, at Altoona Hospital. She was born Oct. 27, 1921, in Altoona, daughter of the late Anthony and Vicenza Aveni. She married James V. Nardelli, May 6, 1946. He died May 25, 1999. Mrs. Nardelli had been employed as a teacher's aide in the public and parochial school systems. She was a 1939 graduate of Altoona High School. Mrs. Nardelli was an accomplished pianist and musician. She also enjoyed singing and was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church. Surviving are a daughter, Isabelle V. Nardelli of Pittsburg; two sons; Mark A. Nardelli and wife, Teri of West Bloomfield, Mich., and James J. Nardelli and wife Bonnie, of Altoona; four grandchildren: Nicholas, Alex, Nathaniel and Natalie; and three sisters: Helen McCulley of Altoona, Adeline Raynor of Manassas, VA., and Gina Romani of Hollidaysburg. She was preceded in death by a sister, Toni, in July 2004; and a brother Joseph. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at Santella Funeral Home, where a vigil for the deceased will be held at 7 p.m. today. Funeral Mass will be held at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 13, 2004, at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church. Committal at Calvary Mausoleum.
