Yesterday at 3.30 p.m. Preston Ellsworth Neff died of rheumatism at his home, 222 Lexington avenue, after an illness of a little over a week. The deceased was a clerk in the office of the T. W. Neff Coal company. He was born in Indiana county, March 4, 1876, and has resided in Altoona for seventeen years. Besides his father and mother he is survived by six brothers - Lawrence M., Roy A., George B., J. Earl, J. Oscar and Guy S., all of this city, and two sisters - Mrs. C. J. Halliwell, of Altoona, and Mary A., at home. He was a member of the First Baptist church. The funeral arrangements will be announced later. Morning Tribune, Wednesday, June 21, 1899 FUNERAL NOTICES. The late Preston Ellsworth Neff will be buried this afternoon. Funeral services will be conducted in the Fourth Lutheran church at 3.30 o'clock p.m. by Rev. John Feltwell and Rev. J. S. James, D.D.
