ROBERT E. NEFF 

Of 1405 1/2 Third street, died at 9:25 o'clock Saturday evening at his home 
after an extended illness.  He was born in Altoona March 21, 1911, a son of 
Ernest and Martha (Faust) Neff.  He was a member and trustee of the First United 
Presbyterian church, a carpenter for the Pennsylvania railroad and a civil 
defense warden.  Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Helen (Marshall) Neff; one son, 
Robert, jr. at home; his parents and five brothers, William L., Vernon A., 
Ernest E., Paul L. and Richard M., all of the city.  Friends are being received 
at the Axe funeral home.
