MARTHA NEHER

Of 2936 Maple Ave., died yesterday August 1, 1973,at the Altoona 
Hospital, where she was admitted July 22, after an extended illness.  
She was born April 7, 1899, in Altoona, a daughter of Robert A. and 
Minnie (Harris) Cook, and was married to Emil C. Neher on Feb. 21, 
1923, in St. Luke's Episcopal Church by the Rev. George A. Bishop.  
Surviving are her husband, a daughter, Mrs. David Maitland of Altoona:  
two grandchildren, a great grandchild and a brother and sister, William 
R. of Altoona and Mrs. John McCartney of Cumberland, Md.  Mrs. Neher 
was a lifelong member of St. Luke's Episcopal Church and a member of 
Delphi Chapter, OES.  Friends will be received in the Replogle Funeral 
Home tomorrow.
