Born in Juniata Jan. 27, 1888, he was a son of George and Elizabeth (Reigh) Nelson. He was a photographer. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Edna Nelson; a son, James John, at home; four daughters, Mrs. Marie Brackbill of Juniata, Mrs. James Harpster of Tyrone, R.D. 1, Mrs. Robert Dunn and Miss Nina Nelson, at home; four grandchildren, and one sister, Mrs. H. B. Grove of Altoona. A son, Stanford, was killed in World war II. He was a member of the Trinity Lutheran church of Juniata. Friends will be received at the home after 7 o'clock this evening.
