LEORA "LEE" NELSON 

  Leora "Lee" Nelson, age 83, of Altoona, formerly of Tyrone, died 
Friday, June 16, 2006 at Altoona Center for Nursing Care.
  She was born December 27, 1922 in Altoona, the daughter of John 
Ebersole and Olive MacGregor Lynn Ebersole.
  She married Harold W. Nelson, who preceded her in death on February 
7, 2005.
  Mrs. Nelson was a member of First English Lutheran Church, Tyrone. 
She worked at Bretts, Bonton and Gables Department store and retired 
from the Tyrone Daily Herald in the advertising department.
  An Altoona High School graduate, Lee was an artist and seamstress.
  She is survived by a daughter Kelly Ann Elizabeth Ceglar and husband 
Raymond of Port Matilda, a son, Sherman J. Nelson and wife Sandra of 
Gallitzin and one grandson, Shay Ceglar. Also, a sister Flora Nycum and 
husband Melvin of Johnstown and one brother, Albert Ebersole of 
Altoona.
  She was preceded in death by a brother, Donald Ebersole.
  Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
  Arrangements by the Santella Funeral Home.
