William Ralph Nelson, Graduate of Antis Township H. S.  

  William Ralph Nelson, 77, of 402 Maple Ave., Bellwood, died at 11:35 
a.m. Wednesday, April 27, 1994, at the Altoona Hospital, following a 
brief illness.  He was born April 24, 1917, in Reightown, a son of 
William Edgar and Beulah M. (French) Nelson.  He is survived by a 
daughter, May Roux, of California and by one brother and three sisters: 
Edgar Dean Nelson, Hollidaysburg; Beulah Mae Price, Danville; Betty E. 
Miller, Reightown; and Beverly Jean Carper, Spruce Creek.  He was 
preceded in death by a brother, Robert E. Nelson and a sister, Marie 
Morder.  He was a member of the Bellwood-Antis Public Library and the 
Hollidaysburg Public Library, and of AARP.  He was a graduate of Antis 
Township High School. William was employed as a maintenance technician.  
Funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family.  
Interment will be at Logan Valley Cemetery, Bellwood.  There will be no 
viewing or visitation.  Contributions in William Ralph Nelson's memory 
may be made to the Bellwood-Antis Public Library, Bellwood, Pa. 16617
