He had been in falling health the past six years, but in serious condition one week, suffering from injuries received in a fall. He was retired passenger brakeman for the Wheeling & Lake Erie Railroad. He had worked for the Railroad for 33 years. Mr. Nepper had resided in Carrollton vicinity the past 22 years. He had formerly resided at New Philadelphia, Jewett and Cleveland, Ohio. He was a member of First Methodist Church of Carrollton and the Brotherhood of Railroad Trainman, Lodge 79 of Massillon. Mr. Nepper, the son of Charles Nepper and Hannah McCarl, was born on Jan. 22, 1874 in Clappertown, Pa., Blair County. He married Lela Olive Wyant on Oct.19, 1918. Survivors are his wife and sister, Mrs. Vene Isenberg of Hollidaysburg, PA. Services were conducted with Revs. C. E. Archberger and Earl Brooks officiating.
