KNEPPER Of 114 Crawford avenue, a member of the firm of Keatley & Knepper, dry cleaners, died at his home at 4.30 o'clock this morning, having been taken ill only yesterday. He was born in Clappertown on Sept. 29, 1861, a son of Charles and Hannah (McCarl) Knepper. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Kathryn (Ramsey) Knepper, and the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. L. N. Brumbaugh of Aitch, Mrs. Fred Mosel of Hollidaysburg, Mrs. A. Lykens of Newry, Mrs. Vennie Isenberg and Ernest Knepper of Savannah, Ga., Edward of New Philadelphia, O., and Alexander of Tyrone. Mr. Knepper was a member of the First Methodist church, the Winafellow Bible class, the F. & A. M. of Charter Oak, Ia., Harrisburg consistory, Jaffa Shrine, and the Knights of Pythias of Dennison, Ia. Friends may call at the home after noon Friday. Mr. Nepper was one of the city's successful business men, holding a partnership in the concern, Keatley & Nepper, which has prospered through the years in this city. Never electing to enter the limelight, Mr. Nepper was devoted to his business affairs as well as fraternal and religious affiliations, yet he was always a staunch supporter of every worth-while movement tending for civic betterment.
