Neterer, 74, died last evening at his home four miles southwest of Goshen. Mr. Neterer fell in his home in January, fracturing his right hip, and his death was caused by complications which developed after the fall. He was born on Aug. 31, 1861, in Blair county, Pennsylvania, the son of Levi and Elizabeth Neterer. He was married to Miss Amanda Mishler on Jan. 28, 1884, and they had lived on the same farm for more than 50 years. Mr. Neterer was a member of the First Brethren church. Surviving are the wife, three grandchildren, Mrs. Albert Calloway and Edwin and Robert Neterer, all of Chicago; one brother, Joseph Neterer, of Goshen; and two sisters, Mrs. Catherine Rohrer and Mrs. John Detweiler, both of Kempster, Wis. A son, Levi, died on May 3, 1922. Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon, at the home at 2 o'clock, and at the First Brethren church at 2:30. The Rev. Harley Stuckman, of Elkhart, formerly of Goshen, will officiate and burial will be made in the West Goshen cemetery. Elkhart Truth, Elkhart, Indiana, Saturday, 2 May 1936, p. 2
