Mention was made on Saturday of William W. Newton, of 2011 Fifth avenue, who was injured at the shops of the Altoona Manufacturing company, on Friday afternoon, and taken immediately to the hospital. His injuries then were not thought to be serious and there was no indication of death until shortly before the time of his dissolution arrived, which was at 7:45 o'clock Sunday morning. The deceased was in the 45th year of his age, and is survived by a wife and five children. The children are: John E., George, Jennie, William and Alva. He also leaves one sister, Mrs. W. A. Smith, of Newry. The deceased was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran church, Millville, and the pastor, Rev. E. J. Metzler, conducted the funeral services last evening. This morning at 8:30 the funeral cortege left the late home of the deceased, proceeding to Newry, where the interment was made. Altoona Mirror, Altoona, Pa., Tuesday, May 31, 1892
